La Coral

bare bones Hotel but clean. No hot water but not a big deal since it’s so warm outside. Location is unbeatable. Absolutely amazing beach basically gayed off from the general public. Staff is helpful and friendly communal kitchen on site up on the rooftop so you can make your own food. Would definitely stay here again. has air-conditioning.

Went to use private pool. 80 pesos for pool use and burger was a little extra. You have to order and retrieve your own burger from the pool restaurant. The pool was clean but keep in mind that the beach is another 30m away if you can swim in surf. The slides are definitely not usable as this is a property that has been taken over after abandonment.

Awful place , we didn't stay for accommodation, but the lack of maintenance is noticeable. Isn't it clear if this is a society with hotel villa Mexicana but this is the only access to Coral Beach, which is an interesting location for knowing since is a good place to chilling and doing some snorkel, the access to the sea is a little bit uncomfortable since there are loose rocks and reef

If you stay at the Coral and you don’t enjoy your stay than it isn’t the place for you. It’s the best place to stay in Puerto if you love the beach and want to be in it every day. The views are incredible. The amenities are basic and that’s perfectly ok, you’re not staying here to bring all the comforts of your apartment all the way here with you, you’re staying here to get away from all that 😜 otherwise go to Cancun and pay twice as much to be pampered!

My partner and I reserved a room for the week of Christmas at La Coral Beach House. Upon arrival, we were told that we had to wait to speak to the owner before we could check in. The employee wouldn't tell us what was going on and was rude and aggressive. After hours of waiting we finally got to speak with the owner, a European woman. The owner proceeded to tell us that she didn't have a room for us...that the room I reserved didn't actually exist. We were very confused and explained we had made the booking weeks in advance and I showed her my confirmation. I then asked why she didn't contact me when she saw my reservation come in. She said "I just didn't get around to it" She spoke to me as if I was the one who did something wrong. We were shocked and confused. She then went on to tell us that she did in fact have a room available but it would cost double the amount. It was obvious to us that we were being lied to and that the owner was trying to scam us into paying more money for the room. We ended up staying one night because it was close to night time (we asked if she would honor the agreed upon price for one night and she refused...she told us we could sleep outside on the ground for that price). We were put in a family/dorm style room, even though the exact room we reserved was clean and available just down the hall from us. That room remained empty the whole night. We left the next day in search of a hotel on Christmas eve. The owner was unprofessional, rude, and insulting. A really bad experience for us. AVOID THIS HOTEL. From our own experience, the owner and her employee are not to be trusted.
